In 1980 Paul "Bear" Bryant was the chairman for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This poster was one of many that Coach Bryant autographed while a little boy named Kitts was close by his side. Kitts and his brother suffered from CF. Their parents were good friends of Jim's, and after the death of Kitts, they gave Jim this poster as a thanks for selling lots of posters to help fundraise for the CF Foundation.
